About Cédric Lignier
Born and raised in Burgundy, France, Cédric grew up immersed in the region’s rich wine culture, surrounded by vineyards, tradition, and the art of tasting. Today, he brings that heritage and expertise to India through his work as a wine educator and agro-ecology consultant.
He studied Biology at the University of Burgundy, then specialized in wine through multiple university diplomas at the IUVV – Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin Jules Guyot in Dijon ( DU Technicien en Œnologie, DU Terroir & Dégustation, DU Culture & Œnotourisme, DU Apprendre & Comprendre la Dégustation du Vin, DU Vin, Culture & Œnologie).
Alongside his oenological path, Cédric also earned a diploma in agro-ecology teaching with Terre & Humanisme, deepening his knowledge of living soils, regenerative agriculture, and fermentation sciences.
He speaks French, English, and Italian, and enjoys sharing his passion for wine and living systems with diverse audiences around the world.
